More than 1 million women in the United States experience menopause each year. Many of these women will find their strategies to lose weight and maintain healthy fitness no longer work.
The change to a woman’s sex hormones (along with another midlife adjustments) can have a whole host of physiological and psychological ramifications, which may include: uncomfortable hot flashes and other vasomotor symptoms, weight gain, changes in body fat distribution, mood swings and disruptions to emotional well-being, brain fog, lack of energy, trouble sleeping, pelvic health concerns, vaginal dryness and discomfort, greater risk of injury or difficulty recovering post exercise and so much more.
In sum, the experience can be immensely challenging at every level. But it can also be an opportunity for greater strength, better health and deeper empowerment. ALL WOMEN, REGARDLESS OF LIFE STAGE, DESERVE TO THRIVE.
As your coach I’ll use all my knowledge, experience and skills to help you to bridge the gap between where you are now and where you want to be. Helping you to set goals aligned with your values, desires and priorities.
While each woman’s experience is unique, what is common to all of us is to live and feel healthy, that’s why we will focus on the cornerstones of good health: nutrition, exercise and regular movement, sleep, recovery practices, stress management and mindset.
We will work closely to determine realistic and actionable steps to achieve those goals offering you support, encouragement and troubleshooting along the way.
